Sales Executive

Our client has only just turned 10 years old, and in that time, they’ve accelerated from zero to £50m/year revenue, won local and national awards, and grown to 170-plus people. Their websites are growing from strength to strength and they’re looking for a Product Content Executive who will help them to continue our growth journey.

Without a physical showroom for customers to touch and feel their products, they need to work twice as hard to showcase their products whilst giving our customers the confidence to purchase.

Cold calling is dead… so we’re looking for people with the ability to maximise a constant stream of hot and warm leads, up-sell products by offering first-class advice and customer service through e-mail & Live Chat, whilst always doing the right thing by the customer.

If you would like to ride the wave of change and get on board with a new generation of salespeople, working as part of a distributed team with colleagues working from around the UK, then we would very much like to hear from you.

What will you be doing?

  • Delivering a great customer experience by helping our customers find the right products and offering expert advice.
  • We sell technical, complex products, so you will need to be willing to learn – a lot!
  • Making a strong contribution to the team goals and company objectives
  • Pursuing up-selling or cross-selling opportunities
  • Look to work well to personal KPIs and self-development targets

  • Have experience in a similar sales role – this is desirable but not essential

  • Are both willing and able to learn all about our many products and apply that knowledge to their role
  • Are driven to suggest process improvements – tell us, we will listen
  • Able to use initiative to confidently solve problems
  • Are open to feedback and willing to listen

In return for your hard work, Our client can offer you:

Values

Everything our client does is shaped by their ten core values. These inform the foundations of our relationships with customers and each other but they also shape how they measure and reward the performance of our colleagues. Simply put, success is not about who you are or how loud you shout, but about the impact you make and what you do. They encourage doing rather than dreaming – if you have an idea, speak up and they will listen! Everyone’s opinion matters and any suggestions are welcomed.

Diversity

They aim to foster a culture where individuals of all backgrounds feel confident in bringing their whole selves to work, feel included and their talents are nurtured, empowering them to contribute fully to our clients vision and goals.

Work is not a place; it is what you do…

Our client believes the future of work is about flexibility. Not everyone does their best work from an office, and not everyone wants to work from home exclusively. Employees can choose to work flexibly either from home or in our office.

To demonstrate their commitment to this, they have a fantastic Home Working Support Scheme! They want to ensure that those who do choose to work from home can still work in the best possible environment and are not left out of pocket.

In a nutshell, we offer:

  • A one-off allowance of £500 for you to set up your home office
  • A monthly ‘top-up’ to cover any additional WFH costs (eg: utilities, equipment maintenance etc)
