Content Marketing Executive

Content Marketing Executive: £21k – £23k depending on experience with full OTE of £24k -£26k depending on the basic

Looking for an opportunity with a global organisation? Established for over 70 years and now operating in 82 countries around the world, our client is a leading fixings and fasteners business who are currently seeking a Content Marketing Executive to join our expanding team located in Erith, Kent

Position Summary:

The successful candidate will be a key member of our Content Marketing Strategy and be our go-to for a lot of our digital content rollout across our e-commerce platforms. The Content Marketing Executive will be responsible for implementing content and updating existing content to improve user experience and usability across our websites and other digital platforms. The Content Marketing Executive will need to be willing to learn, have exceptional attention to detail and ready to hit the ground running.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Content
    • Coordinate, implement and update personalized welcome pages for our Key Accounts, Large Customers and for on-going specialized campaigns.
    • Lead the changes of our divisional welcome pages to make the content more applicable and more present.
    • Be our go-to for adhoc content pages in-line with campaigns, promotions and wider marketing.
    • Have a detailed understanding of SEO effects of content and update the website accordingly.
    • Update our content catalogue pages in line with ongoing promotions and campaigns.
  • Blogs & Vlogs
    • Lead our Blogs and Vlogs efforts to promote the brands image in consumable content formats in-line with the company/ebusiness marketing strategy.
  • Campaigns
    • Create and adapt marketing campaigns through our Gamification Platform, Leadfamly to create enjoyable, fun and exciting games.
    • Create and manage campaign pages through our CMS tool, FirstSpirit and through our E-Commerce Platform, Intershop.
  • Other duties as assigned by your line manager.

Requirements:

  • The successful candidate will be proactive, have great communication skills and have exceptional written and spoken language skills.
  • Previous experience working with Content Management Systems would be a distinct advantage.
  • Previous experience working in an ecommerce based role or project management is desirable but not essential.
  • Experience using Leadfamly as a Gamification Platform would be desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy with analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of using Microsoft Office; Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
