E-Mail Marketing Executive

E-Mail Marketing Executive: £21k – £23k depending on experience with full OTE of £24k -£26k

Looking for an opportunity with a global organisation? Established for over 70 years and now operating in 82 countries around the world, our client is a leading fixings and fasteners business who are currently seeking a highly motivated and passionate e-Mail Marketing Junior Specialist to join their expanding team located in Erith, Kent

Position Summary

As part of your role, you will be assisting the existing e-Mail executive in the planning, developing, implementing and in maintaining of the overall e-Mail marketing strategy. Ensuring customers are receiving the best possible experience in order to increase loyalty and give the brand a competitive advantage.

Essential duties and responsibilities

  • Support in managing email marketing campaigns end-to-end, including planning, targeting, set-up, content creation, A/B testing, execution, reporting and optimisation of e-Mail campaigns.
  • Staying current with best practices, strategies, and industry regulations related to email.
  • Support in developing our evolving email strategy so that we are getting the right message in front of the right customer at the right time.
  • Support in creating segmentation criteria and groups for our targeting.
  • Work alongside our data team to ensure we are utilising customer data in the most effective manner possible.
  • Other duties as assigned by your line manager.

What You Need:

  • Degree in Marketing or equivalent would be beneficial but not essential as on-the-job training will be provided.
  • Experience in a similar role would be beneficial.
  • Experience with HTML and content management systems would be beneficial.
  • Excellent written communication and copywriting skills.
  • Strong project management skills with an ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Familiarity with GDPR regulations.
  • Knowledge of DotDigital would be beneficial.
