Our client is a fantastic hotel and venue, who following a significant refurbishment are looking to recruit an experienced Weddings Sales Coordinator to join their busy events team.
This is a new position and it is vital that you have a strong sales acumen as it’s an essential part of this role.
Responsibilities:
– Meet with clients to discuss their vision, preferences, and budget for the wedding, with a focus on closing the sale
– Plan, coordinate, and execute all aspects of weddings and related events
– Create detailed timelines and schedules for the wedding day
– Ensure all arrangements are in place
– Oversee the setup and decoration of the wedding venue
– Manage the flow of events on the wedding day,
– Handle any issues or emergencies that may arise during the event
– Provide exceptional guest services and ensure client satisfaction throughout the planning process and on the wedding day
Experience:
– Previous experience in wedding sales and planning or in a related role is preferred
– Be motivated and able to demonstrate a background in closing sales
– Strong organizational and time management skills are essential for success in this role
– Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders
– Knowledge of hotel, restaurant, or hospitality industry is a plus

Salary: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
Monday to Friday hours with weekend availability. Please note you must be available for wedding fayres, and you must be prepared to be on site on a weddings day.
