Our client is a beautiful Hotel and Leisure Club, set in impressive grounds on the River Thames.
They are looking to recruit a driven individual who is looking to progress their career as a Wedding & Special Events Coordinator.
About the role
Respond and complete wedding and special event enquiries promptly, ensuring all the client and agents required information is included.
Arrange and carry out show rounds whilst maintaining high standards of personal presentation and the confidence to represent the Resort.
Ensure the complete administration and execution of all planned weddings and special events and ensure all information is compiled onto the function sheet
Keeping in close contact with all brides, grooms and events organizers, ensuring that all their requirements are accurately recorded using every opportunity to maximize sales.
Assist with organisation of Wedding Showcases to highlight the property to the local wedding and banqueting market.
Being present at the beginning of weddings and large special events to ensure everything is set out as per the final details.
Control the cash flow by checking the deposit payments of allocated bookings and collect payments on time in addition to closing the final invoice accurately and hastily.
Participate in hotel promotional activities.
Liaise between the client and relevant departments in case of any queries.
What are we looking for?
A passion for sales and events, with confidence in your ability to convert enquiries. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. The ability to establish rapport and deliver high standards of service with a friendly, warm, genuine and approachable manner. Ability to remain calm and deliver high standards under pressure.
