Our client is a country pub with rooms located just a short train journey from Dorchester, with award-winning food and drink on offer to rival the best restaurants around.
This key position will be responsible for assisting the General Managers with the development and leadership of a team of 20+. We are looking for a confident and enthusiastic individual who is reliable to run a shift and help lead the team/junior managers by example with the challenge of driving this already thriving and busy business to be the best it can.
Being a fresh food lead pub with rooms, consistency and quality of dishes and hospitality is essential and you will work with the team to ensure that they strive to “make our guests day” every time.
We are looking for a motivated and experienced Deputy manager to join this team. As the successful Deputy manager you will have a genuine passion for exceptional customer service and a pro-active approach to team management. You will be enthusiastic and driven to continue the success of the pub and play a pivotal part in training the team to ensure they have the knowledge needed to delight customers. You will also be someone who is committed to their career in hospitality.
Ideally you will have fantastic knowledge of restaurant & bar service, health & safety, food safety, hotel experience as well as experience of stock/cash management,.

We require candidates to have at least 3 years of managing experience in the industry. Hotel/Inn/Restaurant experience preferable.
Pay rate between £11 – £12 per hour plus 12% holiday top up pay and tips
