Our client is an amazing Brewery, well know for producing quality regional craft ales, engineered by hand in their steam copper, which helps to reduce emissions, and is true to the tradition of real craft ales.

All their beers are award winning craft ales designed to clearly communicate the product characteristics to customers & consumers.

The Role:

As the Brewery’s representative in the field you will be responsible for building relationships, and seeking out new opportunities to grow sales in free trade working closely with partners in the telesales team.

Covering a territory that includes over 2000 potential sales outlets across free trade national accounts you will be required to be efficient, hard-working and highly organised. Making every call count with your excellent sales skills you manage the territory by prioritising, good journey planning and exceptional preparation.

You will work closely with the Telesales team and hold regular meetings to agree the strategy for the year and ensure this stays on track, and key existing and potential customers are managed effectively.

You will be required to manage the free trade number, mapping out how and where targets will be achieved and contribute new and exciting ideas for promotions, beers and sales ideas.

You will have the opportunity to work with your manager to improve your skills through training and coaching. But you will also be expected to hit the ground running and work independently so initiative and drive are crucial.

You will be in regular contact with the team and expected to be in the office at least once or twice a month. You will be measured on the following KPI’s:-

• Number calls per week / number buyers seen

• Number of new accounts gained / converted

• Achievement of monthly target

• Reporting

KEY SKILLS REQUIRED * Excellent selling skills, demonstrating good understanding of key steps of the call * Highly organised, ability to work using data on a high volume of accounts to prioritise * Good journey planning skills * Ability to nurture excellent relationships * Efficient admin and conscientious reporting * A good understanding of customer service * A good team player, happy to support the team in other channels when necessary, and have the ability to share your own knowledge and skills with the team. * Computer literate with sound knowledge of Word, Excel and Powerpoint and good with organising and reading data * A professional approach and passion for the independent brewer

Key Qualifications

5 x GCSE’s Grade C or above and ideally ‘A’ level qualifications o Minimum 2 years’ experience working in sales

Full driving license
