Our client is a well regarded Law Firm based in the city of Salisbury.

They are looking to recruit an experienced IT Trainer to join their team, comprising of 1st line support, 2nd line support and the IT trainer who has a split role between IT training and support The team is currently run by the IT Director.  This role will be based in their Salisbury office with occasional training in the London offices.

Training will be on standard Microsoft Office applications (365 suite) as well as a range of other packages used within the firm including iManage WorkSite, Adobe, Docscorp, Peppermint, Bighand, Isokon and Oyez.

This role is a split role which means when not training the successful candidate will be part of the 1st line IT support team. The role will also be responsible for the on-boarding induction program to ensure our new joiners are equipped with the IT knowledge to undertake their role in the firm.

The candidate should have a proven track record delivering high quality IT training, ideally within the legal market. Additionally, a working knowledge of Legal practice, document management, CRM applications and previous exposure to working in a support role would be useful.
Skill Set
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office and other legal applications
• Ability to communicate effectively across all parts of the business
• Ability to promote the benefits of IT training
• A desire to engage with users to help solve their problems
• Ability to develop a mix of classroom, one to one and video led training
• Undertake regular floor walking to engage with users
• Develop training courses for new applications including training material
• Identify potential areas where additional training is required
• The ability to learn new application programs and develop effective training courses
• Provide calm assured support to end users
• Develop and maintain document house styles in Word
• Undertake project work as required including review potential new software
• Help promote the IT department within the firm
• Operate as part of the 1st line support desk when not undertaking or developing training

9.00am – 5.00pm Monday to Friday Core hours of 35 per week – Flexible or Part-Time hours may be considered
