Our client is a leading Law Firm, with several offices in the UK.

Due to expansion, they are looking to recruit an experienced Property Development Solicitor to join their specialist Property Development Team.

Transactions that the team deals with range from £1m – £30m sites. The work will involve a combination of options, conditional contracts, joint ventures, promotion agreements, project manager agreements etc. A good working knowledge of planning law would be useful.

The successful applicant

 work closely with all members of the wider Property team

 provide assistance on large and often complex transactions including options, promotion agreements, conditional contracts, joint ventures, and similar structures;

 manage transactions and client relationships alone;

 work predominantly for private clients;

 have a strong background in development work and ideally experience in dealing with large landowners of agricultural and rural property;

 ideally have some property finance experience;

 be attentive to detail and able to work to deadlines;

 display a positive attitude and be flexible;

 have strong communication skills;

 be commercially aware, and be willing to participate in the firm’s business development activities.
