Marketing Manager

The Marketing Manager will own the marketing activity for the brands within the group.


– Creation of campaign marketing plans for both UK and US markets.

– Working with product teams and designers in the creation of printed materials

– Creation, send and measurement of e-shots
– Working with the digital team to create, develop and measure acquisition activity

– Developing a customer focused content marketing plan

– Assisting the Head of Marketing to track and report on all campaigns

– Basic copywriting and photo editing when required (training provided)

– Actively undertake ongoing market and customer research

– Ensure brands are marketed and positioned effectively working towards a full spectrum dominance of the tour operator market

– Working with sales team to ensure marketing campaigns are well communicated

– Ensure competitor research and analysis is part of the day to day marketing focus, feeding back findings to the rest of the business as required

– Working with both internal and external PR support, drive ongoing awareness and visibility for the brands and provide timely responses to opportunities and requests

– Develop and ensure brand guidelines are maintained across all touch points of the customer journey from booking to returning home

– Act as the voice of the customer, ensuring company values are clear through all marketing campaigns


Creative and high energy
A love for travel
A minimum of 3 years marketing experience
A solid understanding of importance of ROI
Experience working to measured targets/objectives
Experience of driving growth to a business/business area
Strong communication skills across multiple stakeholders
CMS and digital marketing experience
A keen eye for great content and copy
Experience in and/or passion for archaeology a bonus but not essential
An individual looking to integrate into a wider creative and ambitious marketing team
