Our premier and affluent client is looking for a Training and Merchandising executive to join their established team.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
You will primarily be responsible for supporting our clients national retailers around the south of England. Helping them to optimise the sales of their products instore. This includes providing on-going training and development of retailers & staff to ensure they are fully knowledgeable, confident and possess the technical skills to demonstrate the products. In addition you will have the responsibility of installing, maintaining and updating in store point of sale and demo units.
For this you will need to be good at driving product awareness and building relationships in order to impart knowledge of our clients products, philosphy and objectives at retailer level.
You will also need to ensure:
- store colleagues are knowledgeable and confident with the technical skills to demonstrate mass market products as well as to build advocates in store
- that products are merchandised appropriately in store – including digital point of sale units, static units, posters, window displays and other opportunities where applicable.
- that UK and selected export trade shows are attended, ensuring clients full product range is demonstrated to best effect
Skills & Requirements
You should possess excellent presentation and interpersonal skills and should be a good communicator and an excellent listener. An enthusiastic, persuasive personality is required along with self motivation and a desire to be successful. Full clean driving licence, flexibility to travel and possession of a passport are essential.
Qualification / Experience Needed
Good customer service experience and a proven ability to build strong relationships and represent premium brands.
