So far in my professional career I have really enjoyed developing my skills in a variety of industries, including non-profit, fashion and commercial. My strongest transferable skills are being a well-rounded marketeer, experienced copywriter and social media wizard. Each industry has allowed me to manipulate and develop these skills to benefit a lot of different situations. This experience has also given me the chance to hone and perfect these skills for any audience, especially in my role as a Communications Assistant for children’s charity, Naomi House & Jacksplace. This, along with my determination, resourcefulness, creativity, initiative and excellent written and verbal communication skills, has given me the confidence to branch out to seek a more challenging position in an leading organisation, where I can bring immediate and positive value to the role.

Vauxhall Fashion Scout
I have worked 3 seasons with Fashion Scout, the 1st as a backstage intern and the last 2 as a Production Assistant. My role included organising the interns for the days’ shows, making sure the hair and make up rooms were set up and ready before each show. I was also put in charge of organising the models and making sure everyone was in the right place at the right time. I also helped call the shows themselves and ensure that all the garments were well kept before and after each show.
During my gap year I spent nearly 3 months travelling around Asia, visiting Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Sri Lanka and India. The whole experience was amazing and I feel very privileged to have seen so much of the world. I enjoy keeping fit and recently completed the Welsh Three Peaks challenge, raising over £2,000 for Naomi House & Jacksplace. I love to buy second hand clothes and alter them to fit. I also knit hats for friends and family (whether they like it or not!)
